11:30 - 12:00
Forum Innovation Hub, Hall A4
Topic: "Neue Lösungen für alte Häuser – Startups im Dialog über Herausforderungen und Chancen zur Transformation des Einfamilienhaus-Bestands" (New solutions for old houses – startups in dialogue about challenges and opportunities for the transformation of the single-family home stock)
The session focuses on entrepreneurial practice. Innovative founders from the construction and real estate industry discuss the challenges they face in transforming the single-family home stock. The focus is on questions such as: What role do prefabrication, digital tools and new business models play in the transformation and how do you reach homeowners as customers? And what hurdles - from acceptance to financing - need to be overcome? Together we will take a look at the solutions that young companies are already developing today to shape the future of the single-family home in a sustainable way.
Moderation: Tobias Förtsch
Guests: Ina Schröder (Co-founder meinhaus.digital), Valentin Sawadski (CTO, vamo), Valentin Übelhör (Co-founder, dcarbonize)

"BAU, the World's Leading Trade Fair for Architecture, Materials and Systems, takes place every two years. Everyone involved in the international community for planning, building and designing buildings comes together here - i.e. architects, planners, investors, representatives of the industrial and commercial sectors, the building trades, etc. Their primary interests include the latest techniques, materials and applications that can be put to use in actual practice. This is where visitors experience the future of building in person." (BAU Messe München)
