As the TUM Venture Lab Additive Manufacturing (TUM VL AM), together with TUM and UnternehmerTUM, we are developing a unique European innovation platform/hub to foster the transfer of excellent research activities into innovative start-ups within the additive and advanced manufacturing domain: deep tech sciencepreneurship. Join us in building the start-up ecosystem that connects founders with forward-thinking players and supports them in becoming Europe's leading shapers of tomorrow. As of 01.03.2025, we are looking for you as a project manager for the TUM VL AM!
We are seeking an Operations Manager to join our TUM VL Additive Manufacturing team.
Your Mission
- Support our AM-powered Start-Ups - Actively take care of our start-up pipeline and contribute to the success of our teams with your domain-specific AM expertise.
- Drive our AM Community - Operational organization, implementation & execution of events (digital/on-site) to continuously build and expand our community.
- Create Visibility & Outreach - Development and conception of a clear communication strategy to circulate our USPs, offers and strengths in a customer-oriented way.
- Connect Science and Innovation - Active exchange with researchers on the topic of spin-offs from science: Sciencepreneurship.
- Support our TUM VL AM Team - Support and optimization of operational processes.
Your Profile
- Completed scientific university degree (Diploma, Master, Ph.D.).
- Relevant experience in the field of additive manufacturing; experience in higher education an advantage.
- Team player and self-starter who enjoys working in an interdisciplinary team and proactively contributes their own expertise; high degree of personal responsibility and a strong “getting-things-done” mentality.
- Excellent organizational skills in (agile) project management.
- Very good communication & presentation skills and confident interaction with stakeholders.
- First experience in a start-up environment and leadership experience of small teams is an advantage.
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
