Academic Education Manager (m/f/d) Software/AI

Do you want to make a difference in the Heilbronn AI and innovation ecosystem and far beyond? Then become our new Academic Program Manager (m/f/d) of TUM's Software & AI Venture Labs, the nucleus for deep-tech start-ups at TUM in Heilbronn. As part of the interdisciplinary TUM Venture Lab initiative, you will build first-class support for scalable, commercially successful startup teams in Heilbronn's most important innovation center. The goal of the TUM Venture Lab Heilbronn is to establish a strong ecosystem in which emerging startups are supported from the early discovery phase to founding and first external investments.

Your Mission

  • Design and develop - you develop the content of modern teaching formats such as workshops and expert sessions for students, graduates and scientists in the fields of Computer Sciences, Information Engineering, Data Science and Digital Technologies and create concepts for new formats.
  • Plan and execute - you plan the implementation of TUM Venture Lab Software/AI courses and manage the implementation with the team and leading experts.
  • Teamwork - together with talent and start-up managers, you derive requirements for courses and programs from the needs of our target group.
  • Evaluate, report, steer - you evaluate the performance of our formats and derive measures for further development.
  • Strategize - you contribute to the further development of the teaching formats of all TUM Venture Labs with the findings from the projects in the TUM Venture Lab and further develop the education strategy of the TUM Venture Labs.
  • Support - you support the technical development of the Software/AI & Deep Tech Start-Ups in our network with your expertise.

Your Profile

  • You have in-depth knowledge in one of the fields of computer science, mathematics, software engineering, data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence or related fields.
  • You have gained initial professional experience in developing software, data analysis, machine learning models or other data-based technologies.
  • You have a strong interest in communicating concepts and best practices in software/AI to students, scientists and start-up founders.
  • You are motivated to learn about the needs of students, scientists and start-ups and integrate them into teaching formats with technical content.
  • You are enthusiastic and motivated to inspire others with content and engagement.
  • You are a proactive, entrepreneurial thinker and doer with the will to actively shape your environment.
  • You have a very good command of written and spoken German and English.
  • Experienced start-up founders from the fields of software, AI, hardware or related areas are very welcome and particularly appreciated.
