From Lab to Market Challenge 2026

The From Lab to Market Challenge (FLTMC) is a low-threshold, exclusive idea competition for product and business ideas with touchpoints to the chemical sector. The competition is aimed at scientists and researchers at universities and research institutions in Germany.
The FLTMC is organized by chemstars, Creating New Chemistry, greenCHEM, koala and ChemSPACE and carried out in cooperation with universities and research institutions across Germany.
Deadline for submitting your ideas is March 30, 2026. As part of the challenge, you can develop your idea further in a business model workshop and learn to present it well in a pitch training. The best submissions are presented at an award event in front of representatives from academia, industry, the capital market and politics.
