Explaning why innovation needs a physical space and how the TUM Venture Lab Built Environment is offering this - opening the conference "will PROXIMITY still MATTER?" by Prof. Thierstein.
The TUM Venture Labs create special environments for entrepreneurial activities. Students and scientists can further develop their ideas and research into innovations in these rooms of opportunities. Even after a global pandemic and with an increase in digital tools, face-to-face mutual learning, collaborative and interdisciplinary solving of complex problems has remained relevant. The TUM Venture Lab Built Environment offers a place for orientation and exchange to shape the built environment to new concepts and start-ups. And shows an example of what universities could look like - spatially - in the future.
The presentation is part of “will PROXIMITY still MATTER?”: A conference for everyone (students, teachers, ...) from the Chair of Urban Development at TUM with a variety of exciting contributions from a wide range of topics and actors from March 18th to 22nd, 2024 .
The program to the conference for Prof. Dr. Alain Thierstein can be found here.
