IdeaLab Workshop

About
The TUM Venture Labs and UnternehmerTUM Incubator invite you to the IdeaLab, a two-day, hands-on workshop designed to help you transform your academic work into solutions that address real-world problems.
This isn't just about launching a startup; it's about translating your deep knowledge into tangible benefits for society.
This two-day interactive workshop provides you with the knowledge and skills to identify relevant application areas of your academic work and set up a research-based startup:
- Identify Commercial Use Cases: Break down your research to uncover its core technologies and pinpoint relevant applications that can create a positive impact.
- Build a Deep-Tech Startup: Gain the foundational knowledge to launch a research-based start-up that brings your innovative solutions to the public.
- Communicate Your Vision: Learn to articulate your solution's value and societal benefits in a clear and compelling way, so you can connect with a wider audience beyond your field.
You will also have the opportunity to work on your idea with a small team, hear from experts in the field of entrepreneurship and meet founders and learn about their entrepreneurial journey.
The workshop is preceded by a get-together on August 24, with fun activities, and pizza & drinks designed to help you warm up for the workshop days ahead, get to know your fellow participants, and connect with us.
