Bavaria is the No. 1 E-Health Region, within Germany. And to keep it that way, Bavaria's high-performance healthcare industry must learn to master new challenges connected to the European Health Data Space (EHDS). The EHDS framework, which is currently in the EU legislative process, offers immense opportunities for data-driven innovations.
In this deep dive session, we will recapitulate the goals and challenges of the EHDS and to discuss its concrete impact on Bavaria as an e-health region. We will answer questions including: How will legislation affect access, use and exchange of health data? And do we need a separate, compatible health data space for Bavaria? What connected opportunities are there for start-ups, research, as well as medical and nursing care?
Our experts will offer insights into the legal, technical, ethical and practical aspects of the EHDS and discuss how Bavaria can strengthen its position as a pioneer in the digital health revolution.
