Educational Formats

The Quantum Entrepreneurship Laboratory, run by TUM Venture Labs Quantum/Semicon in collaboration with PushQuantum, brings together ambitious students and scientists from diverse backgrounds to help shape the Quantum revolution. In interdisciplinary teams, participants develop a quantum-based start-up from scratch - combining applied research, entrepreneurial thinking, and expert coaching from the Quantum ecosystem.

The IdeaLab, hosted by TUM Venture Labs in collaboration with XPLORE, brings together researchers and students who want to translate academic work into real-world impact. In a two-day, hands-on workshop, participants explore application areas of their research while gaining the entrepreneurial fundamentals to build research-based startup ideas. Through interdisciplinary teamwork, expert input, and practical guidance from founders, the IdeaLab empowers participants to develop impactful solutions and communicate their value beyond academia.

Organized by TUM Venture Labs Quantum/Semicon together with the University of Vienna, the program supports participants in turning quantum research into market-ready ideas. It begins with an intensive boot camp in Bad Ischl, followed by expert-led weekly webinars to further develop business concepts, and concludes with a Demo Day in Vienna where finalists pitch to industry experts and connect with the quantum ecosystem.
