CircularFabrics

“Follow your curiosity, trust your expertise, and embrace failure as an essential learning step on the journey toward impact”
Turning nylon waste into high-quality circular materials for fashion and beyond
Mission & Vision
Textile waste, particularly nylon, has become a global issue due to its widespread use and the lack of effective recycling solutions. CircularFabrics’ mission is to make nylon truly circular by recovering high-quality material from textile waste without breaking it down chemically. Their technology recovers high-quality nylon from textile waste without depolymerization, thereby preserving performance while cutting environmental impact. They offer manufacturers a scalable, drop-in recycled alternative, directly accelerating the shift toward a cleaner, circular textile system.
How It All Started?
Circular Fabrics began with the realization that enormous amounts of valuable nylon were being wasted, despite its potential for reuse. As scientists and consumers, the founders felt that tension firsthand. With curiosity, experimentation, and a lot of trial and error, they set out to develop a better way to keep textile materials in use, and that journey led to the creation of CircularFabrics.
Although technically rooted in strong science, the founders faced a steep learning curve when it came to business modeling and financial planning. They had the technical expertise but not the commercial toolkit. With expert mentorship, including from TUM Venture Labs, they developed a clearer business strategy, turning a deep-tech idea into something ready for industry adoption.
