Liquid Deposition Modeling
What is it good for?
Liquid Deposition Modeling (LDM) enables the extrusion of earthen materials, including ceramics, porcelain, clay, alumina, zirconium and other advanced ceramics. Additionally, it allows for the cold processing of any paste materials that can be compounded with side streams like fabric or cellulose fibres and even mycelium.
LDM merges traditional craftsmanship with modern technology, allowing for the creation of intricate designs and rapid prototyping with natural materials, revolutionizing the realms of pottery, architectural design, and circular materials.
What kind of materials can I print?
Ceramic mixtures (e.g. clay, porcelaine, …), alginates, gelatine, binders, natural and synthetic fibers, mycelium, etc.
What kind of devices does the VL AM have?
WASP Delta 2040 Clay (Ø20x40 cm, 0,5mm min. layer height, nozzle diameter: 1.5, 2, 3 mm)
How can I access it?
