Startups from the TUM Venture Labs Aerospace & Defense ecosystem offer internships, thesis projects, working-student, and full-time roles. We welcome students and graduates from all fields —including engineering, IT, mathematics, physics, business, and more—to meet innovative teams and explore career opportunities.
Arqus Aerospace is building the tools that give satellites superpowers. We design autonomous systems that let any spacecraft defend itself, inspect threats, remove debris, and take action in orbit - without humans in the loop. Our mission is to safeguard space infrastructure and unlock the next generation of orbital capabilities.
TerraLens transforms massive amounts of Earth observation data into actionable intelligence to support political and strategic decision-making. A spin-off from the German Aerospace Center (DLR), their software is already in operational use by national security authorities.
SpaceComputer is building resilient space infrastructure for consumers, enterprises, and governments. Space-based data centers are becoming increasingly popular. SpaceComputer addresses cybersecurity gaps in communication gateways and starts building standalone offerings for confidential computers. In short, SpaceComputer is an Orbital Confidential Compute Platform.

InSpacePropulsion Technologies (ISPTech) is pioneering a new era of space mobility, delivering propulsion solutions for every spacecraft and mission. As a spin-off of the German Aerospace Center (DLR), the company offers cost-effective, robust, and readily available in-space propulsion solutions based on more than 10 years of R&D. ISPTech's two technologies - HyNOx and HIP_11 - serve every spacecraft, from small CubeSats to large landers and capsules.
MUVOpt is a defense software startup focused on large-scale mission planning and optimal control of autonomous swarms across air, ground, and maritime domains. It provides a unified platform for coordinating heterogeneous agents under complex operational constraints in dynamic environments.

ERC-System GmbH is a Munich-based aviation startup specializing in the development of electrified aviation solutions, in particular electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing Aircraft (eVTOLs). The company develops innovative aircraft that combine the vertical takeoff and landing capabilities of helicopters with the efficient cruise flight characteristics of fixed-wing aircraft. ERC focuses on critical mission applications, including interhospital patient transport, evacuation of injured persons, and cargo transport in challenging environments. Founded in 2020, ERC currently employs approximately 60 people and is supported by the aerospace company IABG. At ERC, you have the opportunity to contribute directly to building the future of aviation from day one.

Orbint is a Munich-based space tech startup and spin-off from the SeRANIS project at the University of the Bundeswehr. We develop satellite systems that monitor the electromagnetic spectrum from space, enabling the detection, identification, and geolocation of signals worldwide in near real time. Our technology provides customers with a clear and up-to-date situational picture to support decision-making in security and strategic contexts. By combining advanced satellite networks with data analytics, Orbint is shaping the future of space-based intelligence.

SarynSpace is building the credit risk infrastructure for the space economy. Satellite assets are increasingly financed by institutional lenders and insurers, but no standardised framework exists for estimating their default risk. We are developing the first audit-grade probability of default platform for orbital assets, combining orbital data, Bayesian inference, and institutional finance methodology. We are a pre-revenue deep tech company based in Germany, currently expanding our technical and quantitative team.
