Project Phase: Ideate, Innovate and Validate your quantum-inspired projects in dedicated teams over a span of 4 months. FAQs
The VL Quantum Fellowship Program is a program that connects talented individuals from interdisciplinary backgrounds who have an entrepreneurial spirit and a lot of motivation. It offers them a space to work together and provides various opportunities for learning, networking, and project development. The program is focused on quantum technologies and aims to support fellows in developing their skills, knowledge, and ideas in this field.
Yes! The program requires in-person participation, as we organize events, workshops and internships in Munich (internships in other cities can be offered). Unfortunately, it is not possible to join the Fellowship Program exclusively virtually.
The program consists of workshops, an internship as a founder associate in one of our startups, an entrepreneurial project and involvement in the program's operations within a year. At the end of the program, the fellows with the most promising business cases will be supported for further development.
We expect participation for a full-time internships for 6 weeks in the semester free period. During the project phase the time commitment will depend on your motivation, but at least 3 hours per week. For the involvement in the program's operations we expect a commitment of 2 hours per week.
Applications for the 2025 intake are planned to open in September, 2025.
We want a diverse spectrum of backgrounds because it helps to create an environment of open discussion and diverse ideas. Therefore, anyone interested in quantum technologies and applications in other areas are welcome.
We will suggest some potential ideas that you could work, however we encourage to work on your own ideas as well.
